imo
its all about what ppl are willing to pay.
i prefer older vettes i can work on without a degree in computer
science.
sure the new models are fast and efficient
but they just dont have the appeal of older vettes like the c3`s
i cant get c4 and c5 owners to wave back
some do not but not like c3 owners and c2 owners
whats up with that.

Allot depends on where you live, I have no problem getting the C3, C4, =
C5, and now the C6 owners to wave, seldom if ever see a C2 anymore. The =
C3 is the one to work on, it`s one of the only new Corvettes that I =
would not take deliver on when it came in, pure 70`s junk. The only one =
worse was the `63 & `64 I had, didn`t get another one until `92, didn`t =
want any more of the poor quality but got the C4 flexible flyer anyhow. =
Now that most have been reworked to an acceptable condition the C3 will =
always be the style of choice. Never have figured out what the C2 has, =
minimum years produced I guess. Even GM knew they had to get rid of that =
icon before they lost the whole Corvette line. Of course they did come =
allot closer to killing the Corvette with the C4, in 5 years they took =
production of 51,547 all the way down to less than 50% even after adding =
the convertible and the car with the bass boat motor to boost sales.=20
