Not like I`m a member of the Dayton Air museum that has some of the =
planes flown in here during the storms. Sounds good though.
But I think the NAS Pensacola Naval Air Museum is now open. It`s a great =
visit!
Plus it has an IMAX inhouse. Fantastic collection of aircraft and =
related items.
Most of the charter fishing is still down and my island and the rest of =
the barrier
islands are still closed and off limits to the public.
Some of the good seafood places are starting to open.
I can handle that, my goal is to not be a tourist, just a slob on the =
beach.
All most all of the tourist stuff is still closed though.
That`s the way I like it, have a friends condo so the room thing is all =
set.

Hmmm, got an airwing reuntion there in mid-April. Would it be better
to seek accommodations to the West of Pensacola or East? Would like to
stay East of Foley and West of Milton if possible.
Any thoughts?
Mike.

Hey Mike I would imagine that by April there will be accommodations open.
I would think the crush of workers would start to taper off by then, those
have a big chunk of the rooms occupied.
Just be sure to call ahead for reservations. And then I`d call back to
confirm.
West Pensacola would put you closer to NAS. But downtown would put you
closer
to the beaches. Or even check Gulf Breeze. Your not talking about a long
travel
either way.
Foley would be some travel but Milton wouldn`t be too awful bad. But I
think by then
you should be able to find something in Pensacola proper area.
