The Pensacola/Pensacola Beach area??
Picking up roofing shingles, cutting fallen trees, bagging up debris,
putting blue tarps on roofs... hehehehe
It`s still really bad here... and there isn`t a motel/hotel room to be
had in the area. Alot of people are still
homeless and living in the rooms along with all the workers that have
been brought into the area.
But I think the NAS Pensacola Naval Air Museum is now open. It`s a great
visit!
Plus it has an IMAX inhouse. Fantastic collection of aircraft and
related items.
Most of the charter fishing is still down and my island and the rest of
the barrier
islands are still closed and off limits to the public.
Some of the good seafood places are starting to open.
All most all of the tourist stuff is still closed though.

Hmmm, got an airwing reuntion there in mid-April. Would it be better
to seek accommodations to the West of Pensacola or East? Would like to
stay East of Foley and West of Milton if possible.
Any thoughts?
Mike.
