Congrats, Jim.
I`m a bit surprised to hear how impressive the performance is. If I
recall correctly, you got a `77, and the Vettes in that era are not
known for their performance characteristics. The gas "crisis" and
emissions controls in the mid-to-late 70`s had pretty much castrated
them at that point.
Do you know if/what mods have been made to give it more balls? For about
a year now I`ve been trying to assess what non-intrusive mods are likely
to give my `74 a little extra punch.

Hi Eric,
Thanks so much for your interest in my thread. The car has been in my
posession for only 12 hrs . I am only trying to learn this car. It`s
something I have always wanted .........and now own.
I am on this NG to try and gain some knowledge on the car. Performance
that I stated of this car is personal as I have nothing to compare it to. I
was personally happy with it`s performance. I am love with this car. I wish
I could give you more info right now. I will give information and
experiences as I learn more about this car as I do restorations. I am pretty
`green" on Corvettes but now have one in my garage. Going to go hug it
before heading to bed...G`night...regards Jim
