Jim,

I had kinda guessed the math was a bit off !

Yikes....11K Canadian ? That`s just a little over 8K USD and you sure would

not end up with anything like what you got ! Nice deal ! Fix the oil leak

fast (that can get rather pricey if you let it go or get too low on oil) and

enjoy ! Next thing to send off for are the Ecklers, West Coast Corvettes,

Mid-America, ZIP..etc catalogs so you can get all the required extra`s for

it. And don`t forget to wave at other Corvettes, it`s a "vette thing"

Thank you all for your replies,

Rather than clutter the NG with different questions from the same guy I

thought I would ask on this same thread as I got a lot of questions on parts

availability....

I got an invite to a "show and shine" in Melita Manitoba Canada on

August long weekend.

I would really like to finish the wheel centers with a fake `knock

off` style wheel centers. I did a search and can`t find the three blade

`knock off" style that I am looking for. I hope I am not asking any lame

questions. Thanks for any answers

Title: GT-R35 かわいそうに。。

I dont find this photoset entertaining, nor any humorous words can be thought up to describe the unfortunate incident. I personally do not know the owner of this car, but i feel for him…deeply. Those who have been jacked i the past should be rather disgusted at these kinds of sights, and should feel a deepened hatred towards those who steal.

The brighter side of this story that, im assuming-

the owner can afford a GT-R, so can afford full coverage insurance,

The thieves will have a VERY hard rime selling the rims (rare)

atleast they didnt take the whole car

Title: $12 parking lots, dude
Date: Thu, 24 Sep 2009 21:19:46 +0000
Author: Jessica

In class in Phoenix, AZ

“Hey, do you know if it’s cool to park in the $12 parking lot?” Guy asked.

“You parked in a $12 parking lot?!” Girl asked.

“Ha, yeah,” Guy laughed. “Honestly, dude, I was afraid of my car being jacked.”

“Are you serious?!” Girl asked.

“Dude, you, like, don’t even know,” Guy said. “People will just walk by and have to steal something from it.”
